There’s still time to make it “Home for the Holidays.”
A free evening of holiday musical favorites and storytelling can be brought right into your home courtesy of the Auburn Symphony Orchestra through Jan. 3.
The program is available to stream for free on ASO’s website at auburnsymphony.org.
Participants will hear classic Christmas carols such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Silent Night” as well as holiday classics like “The Nutcracker” and “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting Over an Open Fire).”
Special guest Eva Abrams will evoke the holiday spirit with stories of the season. A few surprises are also “wrapped up.”
This special program was filmed at Green River College in Auburn.
Featured musicians are Sarah Viens and Richard Werner, trumpets; Rodger Burnett, horn; Keith Winkle, trombone; Doug Nierman, bass trombone; Emilie Choi and Sol Im, violins, Betty Agent, viola; Wesley Schulz, cello; Todd Larson, double bass; Wendy Wilhelmi, penny whistle; Gunnar Folsom, percussion; and John Carrington, harp.
