Where are our leaders?

Our nation and the world cannot understand what is happening to the USA.

Our constitution provides a ”check and balance” political system, yet the very leaders that we expect to stand up and defend those checks are either afraid, too ignorant, or complicit as the president for not standing up and calling out his espousing misogynistic, dishonest and racist comments and actions; concocted and unsubstantiated conspiracy tales; uncontrollable narcissism; disrespect for free speech; belittling of foreign and U.S. leaders; attacking our law, justice and intelligence personnel and systems; using insulting “nicknames” to describe anybody that disagree with him; and most seriously, condemning the media for reporting his actions exactly as they occur as “the enemy of the people”.

Where are the 100 and the 435 the people have elected to represent them when the man becomes intolerably insulting and disgraceful?

Yes, we must go to the polls, but that is not protecting the wrongs of a flawed electoral system that was designed to protect the minority but has failed to protect the dignity and governance of the majority of people.

House speaker and senate leaders: you must speak out every time he explodes with one of his egregious lies, actions or statements.

Senators and House members: are you so fearful you will lose the cushy jobs awarded you to serve the people that you won’t speak up, and those of you that do speak up are resigning your position rather than standing to fight for the people’s rights and the proper decorum of leadership?
