More and more senior citizens are taxed out of their homes by a high-paid governor, King County executive and city mayors.
Government officials are promoting issues dealing with drugs, the homeless, sanctuary and welcome city status while giving no thought to giving seniors tax breaks.
Every day we hear of senior citizens who have filed for bankruptcy or have moved out of state in order to survive because of our high local taxes.
And lawmakers have caused crime to proliferate at a high cost to taxpayers.
The city of Kent dug itself into the tax hole by sponsoring HUD housing, which pays no taxes and is still promoting more welfare programs.
Food for thought.
