Valley RV Supercenter has a new location in Kent.
The company moved to its new 5 1/2-acre location in order to house its service and sales departments under one roof.
“It’s the perfect lot for RVs,” said Chuck Joss, sales manager.
Formerly Bret Chevrolet, the space is just down the street where the company started back in 1961 as Valley Garage, a GMC dealer.
“We started on Meeker,” said vice president Tony Weeldreyer. “We have a unique history with the RV industry and the city of Kent.”
According to Ben Wolters, economic and community development director, “Valley RV’s annual sales volume is approximately $10 million, translating to roughly $100,000 in sales tax revenue for the city.”
Although the company moved in at the beginning of March, Weeldreyer hopes the “official” opening will happen sometime toward the beginning of April.
The new facility is located at 619 Washington Ave. N.
