Transdev Services Inc., a global transit company, will shed 340 jobs from its Kent site beginning Oct. 31, according to a notice filed with the Washington Employment Security Department under the federal WARN act.
Transdev’s partner, First Transit, is shutting down its Seattle location and cutting 86 jobs effective Oct. 25, the state ESD posted.
The companies provide contract services for King County Metro’s federally mandated Access program, a transportation option for the elderly and disabled.
