Stimpy’s Sports Bar & Grill in Kent has been temporarily closed by a King County Public Health food inspector due to a COVID-19 violation for providing indoor dining.
Public Health – Seattle & King County announced the closure on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Stimpy’s, 25608 Pacific Highway S., was temporarily closed on Monday, Jan. 4.
The establishment will be allowed to reopen once the inspector confirms that this issue has been resolved, according to Public Health – Seattle & King County.
As of Tuesday, Jan. 5, Stimpy’s is the only food establishment listed on the Public Health – Seattle & King County website as closed due to COVID-19 violations.
Gov. Jay Inslee issued a proclamation with statewide restrictions on indoor dining at restaurants and bars to help slow the rapid spread of COVID-19 cases in the state. Unless extended, the restrictions will be in place until Jan. 11.
