Madrona Natural Medicine, a clinic that brings primary care with a natural approach to the Renton-Kent area, invites the community for its ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 5 to 6 p.m.
The clinic, at 19201 108th Ave. SE, Suite 101, will offer refreshments, giveaways and clinic tours, facilitated with the help of the Kent Chamber of Commerce.
The public can meet the doctors and learn more about the benefits of naturopathic medicine.
Madrona Natural Medicine was founded by Drs. Erin Cheatum and Jessica Doize on the principle of providing exemplary care to the South Sound region. Naturopathic medicine blends conventional best practices with complementary and alternative medicines.
“I chose to become a naturopathic doctor because I was tired of a symptom management-based care,” Cheatum said. “One of the principles of naturopathic medicine is to identify and treat the cause of illness. “Naturopathic medicine gives me the tools to treat my patients more holistically and to address the cause instead of symptoms of conditions.”
