Kent4Health volunteers will promote a Grab and Go Meals program each Saturday in March at Top Foods, 26015 104th Ave. S.E.

Kent4Health is a grassroots organization sponsored by the city and community members to focus on creating physical, mental, spiritual and environmental wellness for Kent residents.

The Grab and Go Meals promotion aims to encourage families to eat a nutritious meal together at least three nights per week.

“Kids from families that eat regular meals together are more likely to be socially well adjusted, have higher academic results and eat more nutritious meals,” said Kent nutritionist Diane Javelli in a city media release. “Being in the store with sample recipes is a great way to showcase how easy it can be to cook meals for a healthier lifestyle.”
