The Scotch and Vine restaurant at Kent’s Riverbend Golf Complex is having its official grand opening celebration from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10.
Customers can get food and drink specials and win door prizes. JD Hobson will provide live music in the afternoon.
The restaurant, 2019 W. Meeker St., opened in August, and features steaks, chops, pastas, chicken and specialties. Beverages include Scotch labels, selections of bourbon, rye, Canadian and Irish whiskeys, wine and craft beer.
The Scotch and Vine opened in 2011 in downtown Des Moines. Owners David and Jill Pritchard added the Kent location at the city-owned Riverbend Golf Complex that includes an 18-hole course and a par 3 course.
