Pacific Power Group is the new name of Pacific Power Products, a Ridgefield-based engine sales company with a location in Kent, 7215 S. 228th St.
The new name better reflects the company’s larger scope of product lines and the emerging markets served, according to a May 22 company media release.
“Pacific Power Group is a collection of diverse operating divisions, so we took on the challenge of looking at our brand through the eyes of our customers and concluded that changes were in order,” said Mark Dawkins, CEO of Pacific Power Group.
In recent years, Pacific has added new divisions of sales and service for golf and turf equipment as well as commercial trucks. The company also offers power generation products, new and remanufactured engines and marine power solutions.
Pacific has 17 sales, service and parts warehousing facilities in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii and provides extended service to seven additional western states.
