The Kent Downtown Partnership sent out a warning to businesses on Friday about a potential female shoplifter spotted recently in downtown stores:
“We’ve received notice of a potential shoplifter in our downtown. For legal reasons we can’t share the photos we have of her but please be on the lookout. Here is her description from one of our store owners: ‘She had green hair and green eyes yesterday and told me her name was Monique. Today she had blue hair and blue eyes and said her name was Marlisha. She is very friendly and chatty, she claims to be pregnant.’”
Business owners are asked to call 911 if they see this woman and suspect she might try to steal items.
