Jimmy T’s Sports Bar & Grill in Kent will hold a fundraising event from 9 p.m. to closing June 11 for 9-year-old Dawson Snider.
Dawson was given the tentative diagnosis of ITP (Low Platelet Count). The treatments he has received at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital have helped increase his platelets that have been as low as 3,000. A normal platelet count is between 150,000 to 450,000. In a few weeks, Dawson will endure more tests to help determine the cause for his low platelet count.
The fundraiser is to help the family with the medical costs of the treatment.
Performing at the fundraiser is Beat Street Dance Band and Mannix.
Jimmy T’s is at 23803 104th Ave. S.E..
Tickets can be purchased prior to the event, as well as at the door.
