Jacksons Food Stores helps fight against domestic violence | Video

Partnership raises $168,361 in six states

In the 13th anniversary year of the Give the Gift of Peace campaign, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers donated a total of $168,361 – $93,361 from customer donations and $75,000 matched by Jacksons – as part of the commitment to create Compassionate Communities.

Since the inception of the campaign, more than $1,200,000 has been raised in total. The campaign ran from Nov. 23 through Christmas Day.

Jacksons sold paper doves in $1, $5 and $10 increments in all of their stores in six states of operation to raise funds for the prevention, education and support for victims of domestic violence and their children, sexual assault survivors and adolescents experiencing relationship abuse.

During the 2016 campaign in Washington, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers donated a total of $19,421 ($10,770 from customer donations and $8,651 matched by Jacksons).
