Greater Seattle Partners (GSP) wants businesses and nonprofits in the Kent Valley to fill out a online Economic Impact Survey to capture the effects of COVID-19.
The survey results will help identify early local and regional effects of COVID-19, inform strategies for regional economic recovery and development, and help maximize and allocate badly-needed federal and state recovery aid.
Whether it is making the hard decisions to work remotely, reduce hours, lay off employees, postpone events, or close, your experience reacting to this unprecedented crisis will shape how our region recovers. Your responses will also help us better understand how deeply the COVID-19 outbreak is impacting our regional economy, especially our most vulnerable businesses and employees.
Find the survey at greater-seattle.com/economic-impact-survey. Complete the survey by March 31.
The city of Kent Economic and Community Development Department recommended that businesses fill out the survey.
According to its website, GSP was founded as a public-private sector initiative to establish a leading regional economic development organization in the greater Seattle region. Formed under the leadership of Challenge Seattle, an alliance of CEOs from 17 of the region’s largest employers, GSP is the culmination of efforts to support broad-based economic growth throughout the region and establish a bold vision for greater Seattle’s future.
