Kent Station and Reds Wine Bar invite the public to eat, walk, talk, laugh and play on Thursday, Sept. 20 for SeptemberFest – a festival of wine, beer, bites and music in support of Children’s Therapy Center.

SeptemberFest hosts a wine and beer garden sponsored by Reds Wine Bar, offering $4 premium wine and beer, and $2 bites from participating Kent Station restaurants. SeptemberFest starts at 5 p.m. The first 100 guests receive a free wine tasting courtesy of Reds Wine Bar.

Guests can enjoy live music from Spyn Reset – modern instrumental rock and soul. Click 98.9’s party crew will be present and giving away ShoWare tickets, Kent Station gift cards and other fun prizes.

The event supports Children’s Therapy Center, an organization dedicated to helping children with special needs reach their full potential. A portion of pre-sale tickets will be donated to the center and representatives will be onsite accepting donations and offering more information.

“Kent Station continually strives to offer family events that are affordable and support the nonprofit organizations in our community,” said Sommer Ueda, marketing manager. “With support from Kent Station and the community, Children’s Therapy Center will be opening a new location, allowing more children to be served and reduce the number of children on the wait list. It is wonderful we can all be a part of something positive and fun!”

Kent Station’s SeptemberFest unfolds in the south parking lot. Admission is free and open to families, however, the Reds Wine and Beer Garden requires a valid ID for 21 and over.
