Domino’s opens new Kent location

Near Hampton Inn on South 211th Street

Domino’s has opened its fifth location in Kent with contactless delivery, carside delivery and carryout available at 6221 S. 211th St., near the Hampton Inn & Suites.

“These are hard times, but we want local residents to know that we’re here to serve them,” said Greg Keller, Kent Domino’s franchise owner, in a media release. “We’re in the business of making delicious pizza and we want to help everyone the best way we know how – by providing a hot meal for them.”

The location, which opened Oct. 1, features Domino’s pizza theater concept, where customers can watch as their orders are prepared.

“The safety of our team members and customers is always our first priority,” Keller said. “With that in mind, the store is taking a number of extra precautions to keep everyone safe.”

Domino’s in Kent is also looking to hire delivery drivers, customer service representatives and assistant managers.

“Our hearts break for those who have lost their jobs or who are facing reduced hours because of this pandemic,” Keller said. “We want to make sure we’re not only providing food to people, but also delivering opportunity to those who are looking for work.”

More than 95% of Domino’s franchise owners started as part-time team members, including Keller who began working as a delivery driver in 1983. He now owns 40 Domino’s locations throughout Washington.
