Chuck E. Cheese in Kent plans grand reopening Oct. 9

Newly remodeled Kent location will offer special deals during celebration

Chuck E. Cheese plans a grand reopening of its newly remodeled Kent location with a special event on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

From 5 to 7 p.m., Chuck E. Cheese will welcome the community for a special Boo-Tacular themed event featuring free E-tickets, candy, haunted house dance parties, limited time menu offerings and more.

The Kent fun center, 25817 104th Ave. SE, showcases a reimagined location with new enhancements including a new Chuck E. Cheese Trampoline Zone, maximum entertainment with more games and a new interactive dance floor. During the reopening, specials include free 30 minutes of All You Can Play games for every child, raffle prizes and free cake.

The remodeling project took about eight weeks, with the work done after hours so the store could remain open. Each morning contractors sign off on a checklist showing they have cleaned up their work and the store is ready to open, according to a company spokesperson.

New features include the most popular arcade, sports and kid-focused games with varying skill levels for players of all ages, a large format video wall and screens with audio connected throughout the fun center to provide a more immersive entertainment experience for guests and birthday parties.

Chuck E. Cheese has 10 locations in Washington and about 600 in the nation, according to a company spokesperson.

Hour of the Kent store are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
