CHI Franciscan Health and CityMD open second urgent care center in Kent

New center to meet region’s growing need for service

CHI Franciscan Health, a premier health care provider in the region, and CityMD, a large urgent care provider in the New York metro area, opened their second urgent care center in the Pacific Northwest on Monday.

The newest center, at 12924 SE Kent-Kangley Road, Kent, is among several urgent care centers throughout King and Pierce counties that are scheduled to open in 2017.

“We are eager to provide the residents of Kent with access to our first-in-class urgent care services,” said Ketul J. Patel, CHI Franciscan Health CEO. “Thanks to our partnership with CityMD, we have taken a significant step toward our goal to increase access to innovative medical care in the Puget Sound.”

The center’s hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

CHI Franciscan and CityMD will announce additional center locations in the coming months.
