Amazon’s trending Amazon 4-star store concept made its debut Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Westfield Southcenter in Tukwila.
Located on the first level of the center in Macy’s Court, the physical store carries a highly curated selection of products that are rated 4 stars and above, or are top selling, or are currently trending on Amazon from the top selling categories across Alpha XR including devices, consumer electronics, toys, games, books, kitchen and home, according to a Amazon news release.
Digital price tags alongside every product show the price and the Prime price, as well as Prime member savings, average star rating and the total number of reviews a product has received.
“Westfield Southcenter is thrilled to welcome Amazon 4-star, a nationally recognized brand established in our very own community, to the line-up,” said general manager Jason Dyer. “This novel addition to our center will provide our guests the opportunity to discover top-rated and top selling merchandise from Amazon, with the convenience of being able to make the purchase in-person.”
Amazon 4-star has one other location in Washington at South Lake Union in Seattle. The company plans to open a store soon in Lynnwood (Alderwood). Amazon 4-star has about 20 locations across the nation with more planned.
