Starting Saturday, H1N1 vaccine available to everyone; clinics are open in Kent

Starting this Saturday those eligible to receive H1N1 influenza vaccine will be expanded to everybody six months of age and older in King County. Depending on early demand among this broader group, supplies may be limited for a time at some locations.

The City of Kent activates Severe Weather Shelter at Kent Lutheran Church tonight

The severe weather shelter will be in operation Wednesday night, Dec. 9. Priority is given to homeless families with children who are living on the streets or in vehicles, but the SWS will also be available for single women and men.
