The Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-2 in overtime Saturday night at the ShoWare Center in Kent. Seattle is now 21-32-7-1 and in seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings with 50 points. The Silvertips are one point behind the T-Birds in the standings with a 22-35-1-4 record.
