Local contract talks come to halt between Waste Management, Teamsters

Garbage hauler contract talks between Waste Management and Teamsters Local 174 remained stalled Wednesday and no further talks were scheduled.

More than 30 professional motorcyclists will compete on a concrete track in the Northwest Extreme Flat Track Racing event at 7 p.m. April 17 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Pro motorcyclists to race at ShoWare

Mickey Fay once raced motorcycles on concrete oval tracks in the 1970s at the old Seattle Coliseum, the Memorial Coliseum in Portland and the Cow Palace in Northern California.
