Kent Police arrested a 37-year-old Kent man on Thursday night in connection with the shooting death earlier Thursday of a man who died on East Saar Street near downtown.

Crews are about 50 percent finished with the new Kent Station apartments going up along Fourth Avenue North. Crews are scheduled to take the crane down next week. The complex is expected to be done next May.
