The dual system is firmly established in the German education system. A dual education system combines apprenticeships in a company and vocational education at a vocational school in one course. Trainees in the dual system typically spend part of each week at a vocational school and the other part at a company or they may spend longer periods at each place before alternating. Dual training usually lasts two to three years.
In Germany, over 50% of Germans enter dual vocational and educational training programs as a route into employment. They choose from 326 professional trades that include diamond cutters, aircraft mechanics and even chimney sweeps.
Our company Kowloonland Limited has helped young people from Vietnam continue their study in Germany dual education, which would make them find a better job in Germany.
